Sadly, this will be my last post as I have learned a lot from this class. It has been an amazing opportunity to learn from the assignments and the experiences that were presented in this class. I could definitely see how all of these assignments are related and how they can connect to carry out and transform a business idea into a business reality. I think that overall I have learned how to think of the big picture and how I can identify an opportunity in a market. I think that it is important to identify a specific market segment first of all because then you can concentrate on that and tailor your customers' needs. I think that it was also great to include my new connections to my network as I have a better perspective and insight into other things that are beneficial to the program that I was trying to develop. Interviewing people was so much fun because I got to know them better from a different perspective and to see how certain people think alike is very surprising. Sometimes I will get the same answers but presented in different words and I really liked to see how people share similar thoughts. If I would have to pick one the experiences that I enjoyed the most it would definitely be the interviews in general. It is so easy to go and talk to people and to receive feedback from your idea. As I mentioned before, I think that all of those assignments come together to give a little taste of what entrepreneurs must face when they are starting their own business. It has been an amazing experience and I think that now I have a better insight into an entrepreneur mindset, so I definitely believe that I have gotten closer to that perspective. My recommendation would be to do everything willingly and intentionally. Who knows? Maybe you will have the opportunity to actually run the idea that you started in this class. I would also mention that they should find something that they are passionate and to not limit themselves to a for-profit idea. It could be anything that they want this to be. It was a great class and I am happy that I learned a lot from it. Thank you to Dr. Pryor for his amazing lectures and to my peers who reviewed all of my posts. It's been real.
