1) You. I am an international student who wants to help other international students to pursue their dream of working for multinational companies. I am an information systems major and I want to do anything that I possibly can to help my peers to acquire professional working experience and help companies to recruit talented people.
2) What are you offering to customers? I am offering international students a chance to prove what they can bring to the table and offering companies to recruit highly talented people.
3) Who are you offering it to? To be very specific, I am offering this opportunity to international students who are pursuing a degree here in the United States of America and who are from business or STEM majors.
4) Why do they care? Because it is important for their future. If they want to have the opportunity to get a full-time job, they require some work experience and I would love to be able to provide them with this chance.
5) What are your core competencies? Intercultural, interpersonal, communication, leadership, teamwork, problem-solving, analytical skills.
Based on the feedback that I received from my peers, I believe that I adjusted my strengths to my program. It has been an amazing opportunity to hear what others people think about this program (my entrepreneurial idea) and I feel very supported. I would like to appreciate all of my classmates that are reading this.
Hello Gerardo! I like that you included valuable information about yourself such as your major and your mission with helping international students to pursue their dreams. I am trying to make everyone who purchases my product have a great night's sleep. I like that you have your focus on business majors which is a very popular major for international students. Overall, you have a great post with good information! Nice job!
ReplyDeleteHi Gerardo, I’m glad that you’re an international student and that UF has given you that opportunity. I have a friend who was also an international student, from South Korea, but he struggled to find a graduate program due to his GRE scores. As a premed student I have applied to many professional programs and a requirement for international students is a high MCAT English score. Maybe you can offer to help those international students better there testing score and in turn help them find internships and graduate programs.
ReplyDeleteHey Gerardo, I really like your business opportunity idea and plan and you seem more than qualified to pursue it since you have been in their shoes. You did a nice job providing good information about yourself and seems like you have a pretty specific demographic which can be a really good thing. Overall, great post.
